Welcome to the Canterbury Regional Economic Development Strategy (CREDS) 2005-2015 homepage. CREDS 2005 was developed through a partnership and collaboration among the Canterbury Forum, the Economic Development Agencies and key stakeholders and partners in the region.  CREDS includes responses to issues at the individual district and sub-region level in the form of stand-alone strategic plans for those areas. CREDS 2005 provides a ‘top down, bottom up’ strategic commentary and action agenda for Canterbury and its constituent districts and cities.
